Ivy Worldwide - It's Not "About Us"
It's about Community -- finding and enabling the best advocates of your brand.

Social media and word-of-mouth marketing is what we do. Using on and offline methods, we build strong advocates for your brand by cementing ties to the individuals and communities that care about your products and services. How? Simple: we serve the community first. As the title says, everything we do is for, with and by the community. We believe that creating a mutually beneficial relationship with influencers and their communities can help everyone achieve their goals.

If you don't think what we do is dramatically different than your everyday agency, just use Google to search on one of our founders, Chris Aarons. You will see in the community's own words the strength of the relationships we develop.

How do we do it?

1. Find the top 10% of bloggers that are writing about your product or industry through our digital detective process. The top 10% generate 90% of the content. These are either the bloggers with the broadest audience (thousands or millions of readers in some cases) or the right audience (tightly focused readership)

2. Find the intersection between our clients brands and products and the bloggers interests. The bloggers are type A personalities who want content and access to your company. We facilitate this so you end up with a fruitful relationship with the bloggers.

3. Pre/Pro/Post is our framework for getting things moving

a.Pre-get bloggers/influencers involved before you launch a product or service. They are super-users that have very informed opinions and know their readers (your customers) better than you do.

b.Pro-Once you have them engaged they can become Proactive advocates for your product. They've met your people, given input, used and reviewed your products.

c.Post-after purchase. The bloggers/influencers can help answer questions on their forums and provide support.

4.Own the left side of Google. 70% of people start their search or research for products on Google. When the first two pages are full of positive reviews and posts from the advocates you've built, there is no better WOM marketing you can get.

With our in-depth knowledge and experience with communities and influencers, Buzz Corps works with you to develop mutually beneficial relationships that will amplify your existing demand generation, PR, marketing, service, design and positioning efforts by:

  • Turning Loyalists into Advocates: Identifying key influencers on and offline and helping them become even more familiar with your products and perspective so they can share their knowledge with the community
  • Sustaining the Buzz: Creating on-going programs matched with continual outreach efforts that deliver credible word-of-mouth referrals
  • Increasing Agility: Using these conversations to force your competitors to become reactive to your messaging and perspective
  • Leveraging all Business Assets: Managing relationships in order to maximize their impact across the community and across your entire company
  • Delivering Competitive Advantage: Providing you insights into trends, innovative offerings, and ways to distinguish yourself from the competition

Ivy Worldwide was started in May of 2007 by partners Chris Aarons and Geoff Nelson. While working together at AMD on a joint launch of Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system they began working with core Microsoft bloggers and influencers.

The influencers liked the strategy of, "For, With and By the Community" to such a degree that they suggested the founders help influencers and corporations build mutually beneficial relationships.

We took their advice.

Clients include HP, AMD, and itaggit, Gel Pro, Workscore and a handful of other clients.
