Effective Networking
Word of mouth campaigns succeed when people connect with each other. However, few people are taught the tactical aspects of this crucial skill called networking.
Diane Darling founded Effective Networking, Inc. on the premise that everyone can learn to network; they just need to find their own style. Effective Networking teaches successful networking strategies, skills, and techniques to organizations and individuals so they can maximize opportunities.
Areas of focus include:
- Identifying ways to attract new clients, increase referrals, and generate growth.
- Establishing best practices for promoting yourself, your product/service, or company without "selling"
- Learning how to expand your network, identify and connect with key business contacts, and handle networking events.
Our presentations range from keynote addresses to interactive skills workshops for company professionals to retreats for individuals. Private one-on-one consultations are also available.
Diane wrote The Networking Survival Guide, published in 2003, and Networking for Career Success, published in 2005. The books, both published by McGraw-Hill, have been translated into Thai, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian and Japanese. She has appeared on the NBC Nightly News, in The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, and The Boston Globe. Diane has received rave reviews for her seminars and speeches and is increasingly sought after as an expert resource on the subject of networking.
